Jakarta, May 8, 2025 — The Indonesian Padel Federation (PBPI) has officially launched a national padel player licensing program as a strategic move to build a more professional and structured padel ecosystem in the country. The program is designed for players of all levels—from amateur to professional—who wish to compete in both national and international tournaments.
This license is a mandatory requirement for participating in official tournaments organized by PBPI and its partners. The program also includes a national ranking system to help monitor players' performance over time. With this licensing system, PBPI aims to strengthen athlete development and create a clear path toward international competition.
This launch marks a major milestone in the growth of padel in Indonesia. The licensing program is expected to establish clear standards for players and tournament organizers alike, while fostering a more competitive and organized padel community.
Registration is now open online through the official PBPI website.
